New You & The Holy Spirit

ChrisAug 30 2021

In this series, Andrew addresses the two most important events that will ever take place in a person’s life: first, receiving salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and second, being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

The New You & What Is A Christian?

A Christian is a person who has been saved by grace through faith. What is surprising for many to learn is that salvation includes, but is not limited to, the forgiveness of our sins, and that His forgiveness includes past, present, and future sins. This message will give you a whole new understanding of your relationship with God.

What’s Next?

Consider this: forgiveness of sin is not the goal; it’s the means to an end. The goal is a personal relationship with God, which means becoming a disciple (learner and follower) of Jesus. To help with this, Andrew has enclosed a list of materials that will help build that relationship.

The Holy Spirit

It’s important to understand that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a separate event from the born-again experience and that the accompanying miraculous manifestations of the Holy Spirit are still operating today in those who will believe.

Speaking In Tongues

In this message, Andrew establishes the validity of speaking in tongues. He shares the benefits that accompany this gift and then gives instructions on how to receive it and actually speak in tongues.
