Experience God with Us

ChrisSep 27 2021

A good story is timeless, no matter how many times it’s told. This couldn’t be truer than when referring to the Bible, the greatest story ever told, full of stories that are rich with twists and turns. This is the concept behind God with Us, the musical production that will be held at Charis Bible College in March 2016. It is written and directed by Robert and Elizabeth Muren, of Norway, Managing Directors of the AWM Theatre Company.

Robert and Elizabeth came to Charis Bible College having performed over 100 shows in seven countries. They toured Israel with a musical that they wrote called The Covenant. It has since been shown on Daystar Television, as well as performed in over fifteen countries around the world. They are currently in the beginning stages of a motion picture produced by Hollywood.

One of the things they have found is that there is a hunger among believers and non-believers alike to travel back in time and experience uplifting and powerful events up close. The lives of those highlighted in the Scriptures are still relevant today, and when brought to life through heartwarming songs, dazzling sets, and lively actors, audiences are in for an experience with the Bible that they’ll never forget.

Talented actors and singers will guide you on a unique journey through the events in history that have shaped lives for over 2,000 years. Laced throughout is evidence of a God who is relentless in rescuing His people.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience a Christian, Broadway-style musical, you don’t need to travel to the bright lights and big city to enjoy a spectacular production. Right here, in the mountains of Colorado, a sixty-member cast will take to the stage this March, bringing to life a series of powerful stories from the Bible, centered on God’s quest to deliver His people. You’ll be led on a powerful journey as you experience the slavery of Jochebed, follow Joshua as he leads the Israelites into the Promised Land, and witness as Esther risks her life to save her people. This original musical drama then brings to a finale the Word becoming flesh in the person of Jesus. You’ll witness His miracles and the sacred moment when He becomes the ultimate sacrifice. It’s a beautiful theatrical experience sure to inspire and delight audiences of all ages.
