Hybrid On Campus
Charis Hybrid On Campus provides a structure of consistency that hinges on the gathering (on campus) /connection (online) of the student body to fellowship and grow together in the foundational truths from God’s Word taught through Charis Bible College.
Lesson homework and tests will follow a strict schedule. Allow for 8-12 hours* of study per week. Additional study time may be necessary.
On Campus connection days will include student attendance on the Gold Coast campus where they will interact with one another, instructors, class facilitators, and online students, every second Saturday from 9:00am-4:30pm (AEST), for fellowship and to complete practical program requirements.
*Additional hours to complete practical requirements such as service hours, ministry hours, mission prep and mission trip, will be required.

Completed over one scholastic year and available for Charis 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year students on the Gold Coast Campus. The program is completed through a scheduled combination of full time independent study and in person connection on the Gold Coast campus.

What is the Hybrid Program?
The Hybrid program is a one-year program that gives the experience of on-campus life while still being able to study at home. The core teachings will be watched at home using the Learning management System. Students will then join with fellow classmates on a regular basis.
What’s the difference between Hybrid On-Campus & Hybrid Online?
Currently, On-Campus meet-up sessions will occur in person on the Gold Coast and the Hybrid Online meet-up sessions will occur over an online video conferencing software/“Zoom”.
Is Hybrid Online available for everyone?
No, this is only for 1st and 2nd year students (3rd Year is only available On-Campus). The Hybrid Online option is only for students who do not live in Queensland or those who live more than 150kms away from the nearest Charis campus location. Exceptions to this are on a case-by-case basis. Please enquire.
What happens during the meet-up sessions and how will they work?
The meet-up sessions will consist of worship, live teaching, connect groups, review & share times, mission preparation, student presentations, guest speakers and much more. Hybrid Online students will join in with the Hybrid On-Campus sessions via an online video conferencing software/“Zoom”.

No. Unfortunately, at this stage the program has only been approved for 2021.
What are the technical requirements to be able to do the Hybrid Program?
You will need a device to access the Learning Management System to view your classes and take your exams. You will also need access to a stable internet connection. Please enquire for more details.
